PERSEUS SUMMARY: Perseus is perfect for a small crew looking to hunt the smaller, sub-cap Ships. However, the medium tanks may be problematic for prolonged operations The hangar and vehicle bay opens up other gameplay options like S&R. It moves much faster than other cap ships any light crafts that do catch up to it won't be able to do much damage before being taken out by either the turrets or the S3 missiles. Its Capital-sized radar combined with the S10 Torps makes it ideal for hunting other cap ships. POLARIS SUMMARY: Polaris is great if you have a ton of money, and a ton of friends. I play together with about 3-4 friends on certain nights, but most of the time I'm just soloing. I'm thinking of getting either the Polaris or Perseues. Arrow, Buccaneer, Pisces, and Dragonfly). Currently, I have a Carrack/ for exploration/cargo hauling, Vanguard Harbinger as my daily driver, and some others that I rarely use (i.e. It has given me a better idea of what to expect in Star Citizen. Now that's outta the way, the XenoThreat event was a truly beneficial experience for me.

Thus, some of the terms I use may not be the accurate air/naval term, so bear with me. SC is my first entry in non-ground Warfare. I've had no interest in other types of warfare. The games I play mostly revolve around general infantrying (ArmA 3, Squad, etc). I am by no means an expert in Space/Naval/Air Warfare. But as I started writing the summary portion, I realise I should probably bring this discussion to Spectrum (Link: ) to clarify any misconceptions I may have, and maybe hear the community's thoughts on these two ships. 325a or Gladius? I'd also appreciate it if somebody managed to convince me to get The Sabre as I'm very quite fond of it.I originally intended this to be a short Pros and Cons for myself, to help me decide on the Perseus or Polaris. With how NPCs move, it's not even an issue though, you blow your load, the enemy overshoots you and you're fully charged by the time you've realigned your shot again. The major issue with 325a's is that if you run 3 energy weapons (Which is a must have in PVE currently) you only have 28ish shots before recharging. The 325a only loses out to health and manoeuvrability but a bee's dick. The Gladius holds 3 size 3 hardpoints, whilst my 325a has 2 size 3's and 1 size 4. Whilst i've been earning money with Bounties, I actually find the 325a to be quite lethal. I've tossed up between The Gladius, The Arrow & The Sabre.

I've grabbed The Hurricane as my 2-person combat ship and a cutty black for my general use vehicle.īut now my eyes are set on a dedicated solo-fighter. I've been slowly building up my fleet in the past 2 weeks using JumpTown money.

So I bought the 325a as my only real-money-purchase to use as my starter ship whenever SC fully wipes again.
